ILLINOIS

Total Requirements: 30 credits every two years.

Reporting Date: July . Attorneys must report their credits to the Illinois MCLE Board by July 31st immediately following the end of their reporting period. Credits may be reported online.

Reporting Rules: The applicable two-year reporting period shall begin on July 1 of even-numbered years for lawyers whose last names begin with the letters A-M, and on July 1 of odd-numbered years for lawyers whose last names begin with the letters N-Z.

Attorneys must retain proof of compliance for four years and verify on their biennial registration statement that they are in compliance with New York’s CLE rules.
